Our Directing Pastor
Rev. Walter "Wally" Carlson became the directing pastor at Wesley UMC Charleston on July 1, 2009. He previously served pastorates in Quincy, Pana, Springfield, Macon, Normal, Mt. Pulaski and Peoria.
He is a graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University
and Vanderbilt University Divinity School.
