Serving at Wesley

We exist to bring glory to God by making disciples through gospel-centered worship, gospel-centered community, gospel-centered service and gospel-centered multiplication. This is our process for discipleship. Out of this gospel-centered service is the overflow of discipleship, serving those in and outside the church. One of the ways we pursue and live out this discipleship trait is through volunteer opportunities.

Wesley Nursery Volunteers

The Nursery provides enriching child care and activities for infants to 5 year olds. It will also be available for infants to elementary-aged children on an as-needed basis on Wednesday evenings during choir rehearsals. Covid protocols will be in effect, including but not limited to children’s temperatures taken upon entry (anyone with a temp of 100.4 or more will not be admitted), extra hand-washing and sanitizing of toys and equipment, and required mask-wearing of children 2 years and older. Parents will be required to sign their child in and out of the facility. Because of mask-wearing, snacks will not be provided. In order to properly staff the Nursery, we will need volunteers to assist. If you can provide such assistance, please forward your name and contact information to Rachel Mellott at Rmellott@charlestonwesley.org or on the sign up sheet in the Wesley narthex.

Greeters ,Ushers, and Communion

If you are interested in serving as a greeter or usher, contact the church office by email or phone.

Children's Ministries

In order to provide quality programming for our Children’s Ministry at all levels, we are in need of volunteers to serve. If you can serve as a volunteer, as a Sunday school teacher, or children’s church leader, please forward your name and contact information to Sarah Gatton at Sbergin@charlestonwesley.org
