Disciple Bible Study with Pastor Brad

Beginning in September, Pastor Brad is planning on leading two sessions of Disciple 2 Bible Study and one session of Disciple 1 .


Disciple 2: “Into the Word, Into the World” is for those who participated last year in the journey through Disciple Bible Study 1. In year 2, we will take an in depth look at Genesis, Exodus, Luke, and Acts. Our 26 week journey will run September through April, with two options for class: Wednesdays at 5:30PM and Thursdays at 9AM. 


Disciple 1: “Becoming Disciples Through Bible Study” is for those who gave yet to participate in a Disciple Bible Study. Using both material produced by Disciple as well as material from other sources, we will survey the Bible and grow in our Christian faith and life.  This will be a 26 week journey (September through April). Disciple 1 will take place tentatively on Monday nights. 


Childcare will be arranged if you need it. If you have questions or would like to sign up for one of the classes, please contact Pastor Brad (bshumaker@charlestonwesley.org or 217-649-0339). We really need a minimum of 10 people in each class to make the class work! Let’s journey together!

Young Adult Small Group

A small group  at Wesley for Young Adults ages 20-40. They will be meeting Wednesday nights at 6 pm in the Parables Room. Contact Sarah Gatton for any questions or if you are interested in joining. The church will also provide dinner weekly from 5:00 to 6:00pm. If you would like, you can also join them for dinner before small group.
